Meet the Team - Carter & Co Accountants

Justin specialises in the provision of accountancy, business advisory and taxation services, ranging from small to medium sized UK owner managed businesses with clients covering a wide number of sectors. He founded the business in 2000 after spending many years working in practice. Justin is a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.

Neil joined Carter & Co as a partner in June 2013, bringing with him a wealth of accountancy and taxation experience having started his career at H M Revenue & Customs, before moving into practice with a large independent firm of Chartered Accountants. He has a wealth of experience in all areas of tax and accountancy and is keen to put this to good use servicing our ever expanding client base.

Charlotte worked within the Banking sector for three years prior to joining Carter & Co in 2007. She is one of our most senior accountants within the practice and has the added responsibility of being office manager and oversees the day to day running of the practice. She prepares accounts for Limited companies, deals with both corporation and personal taxation and has a strong background in bookkeeping and VAT. In August 2013 she qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and also has full AAT fellow membership (FMAAT).

Clare joined the Carter & Co team in January 2010, having previously worked in the banking industry. She deals with the bookkeeping and VAT preparation for a wide range of clients. As part of her bespoke service she works with clients more in depth to assist them with their administration duties, including sales invoice production, issuing of statements and chasing debts on their behalf. Clare is committed to both her work and her young family.

Zoe joined the Carter & Co team in March 2018, but has been working in practice for over 20 years. She is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, and prepares accounts for sole traders, partnerships & limited companies, along with corporation tax and personal tax returns. She is busy looking after her family when not hard at work in the office.

David joined Carter & Co as a Senior Bookkeeper in October 2017 and now maintains his own portfolio of clients. He has over 25 years’ experience in accounting practice and is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians. Outside of work David is active as a member (and Treasurer) of his local Rotary Club, raising money for good causes.

Sarah joined Carter & Co in April 2016 as a Payroll Administrator, having previously worked in the hotel industry. She is responsible for processing weekly and monthly payrolls, assisting the Payroll Manager with all manner of queries, registering PAYE schemes and dealing with HM Revenue & Customs. She is very customer focused and gives her best to every client she comes in contact with.

Ewelina joined Carter & Co in August 2021 as a senior bookkeeper and is currently part way through studying ACCA. Her role is mainly focused on the completion of VAT returns and client bookkeeping, using a multitude of software’s. She originates from Poland and moved to the UK with her husband in 2013. She has working in the accountancy industry since 2014 and has a young daughter who keeps her busy when not working. She returns home to Poland to see her many friends and family whenever able and has been a wonderful addition to the Carter & Co team.

Jodie joined Carter & Co in August 2021 and is studying towards her AAT level 3. As a junior accountant Jodie performs a wide range of accounting tasks including the preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts and also personal tax returns. Jodie will be the first face you meet at Carter & Co and will always greet you with a friendly smile. She’s a fantastic addition to the team and we’re sure you’ll see her around for many years to come.

Vish joined the Carter & Co team in November 2021, having been working in practice for over 9 years. He is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, and is a key member of the accounts department. A future partner in the making! Outside of work Vish has been playing cricket from a early age and enjoys his summer weekends playing for Kibworth Cricket Club 1st XI.
